In 2011, In the box, the brand of hosiery and apparel collections made in Milan founded by Mario Pastorini and Carla Bottoni, partners in crime also in private life and both with a consolidated background in the sector, is a fashion r-evolution of fashion. In the box is a constantly evolving container of creativity that changes in size depending on what it contains. Today they are collections of socks and clothing, tomorrow a new project that comes out of a box to create an ever new one. No longer an undergarment, no longer an accessory, with In the box socks become the protagonists of Italian style in the male and female wardrobe: the starting point for defining one's look. In the box chooses this exceptional manufacturing art to give life to its socks collections. If the workmanship is among the most ambitious in textile history, the designs are no different because they arise from Mario's cult of vintage, but also of American and Japanese second hand, from Carla's passion for street culture and rnb music old school, from preppy icons like John Kennedy who mixed classic garments with sporty details and from western imagery to Navajo culture. Created by Mario in the In the box style center thanks also to the collaboration of international designers who translate his creative vision in Milan and the Far East, the collections are made exclusively in Italy by the best players on the market to guarantee qualitative excellence both in the yarns used than in processing. And they are distributed through a network of 700 stores nationwide, including Annex de La Rinascente, as well as presences in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France, including the Mercì concept store in Paris, Canada, South Korea and a considerable presence in Japan. Quality design and manufacturing are the pillars on which the brand is founded. The collections, in fact, come to life from the surplus of the production of socks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, cardigans and pullovers are born, alongside the proposals of hats and scarves, boxers for the sea that take up the creativity of the socks for a total look effect.
