Susan Bijl - The New Bum Bag Sakura & Black Medium

Crossbody, over your shoulder, on your bike or attached to the stroller; The New Bum Bag is an all-time unisex favourite for your daily essentials. Its box-like shape differentiates the bag from any other handbag and makes it very spacious. The bag is lightweight, has an inside pocket, is available in two sizes and comes with Velcro straps.

We make this product with two of our signature fabrics.

For the bag, we use our 300D heavy-duty waterproof fabric, made from Bluesign® certified and 100% recycled ripstop polyester, and is treated with a recycled TPE coating.

For the inside and details, we use our 70D fabric, made from high-quality Bluesign® certified and 100% recycled ripstop nylon. We apply a water-resistant coating that is also Bluesign® certified.

Our bags can be machine washed at 30 degrees, preferably using a short program. Always wash your bags separately from other fabrics. 

It's best to limit washing as much as possible to avoid wearing down the fabric. Use a washing bag or a Guppyfriend to preserve the material's quality and prevent synthetic fibres from breaking off and ending up in the wastewater.

This bag has a waterproof coating that will fade with every laundry cycle. Close the zipper before washing. 

Bags with buckles and metal clasps must be put in a washing bag or pillowcase to prevent damage to the machine or other items in the load.
